Privacy

Privacy policy.

A plain-language look at what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Effective date · August 7, 2026

Pet Bazaar NC respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website and our small team collect, how we use it, and how you can reach us with questions.

01

Information you give us

Our website does not store form submissions on a server. When you use our contact or assessment form, or the New Client Agreement, your browser prepares an email (and, for the agreement, a PDF you download) that you choose to send to us.

When you contact us by that email, by phone, or in person, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, your dog's details, and whatever you tell us in your message.

02

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, basic technical information is generated when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you request. Our hosting provider processes this as part of delivering and securing the site. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

03

Cookies and similar technologies

We use only essential storage needed for the site to work — including a small record of your cookie choice, kept in your browser for about twelve months, and interface preferences.

We do not currently run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts on this website. If we ever add optional technologies, they will load only after you allow them through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

04

How we use information

We use what you share to answer your questions, schedule assessments, arrange daycare, boarding, and training, keep accurate client and pet records, and communicate about your bookings. We do not use it for advertising.

05

How information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate — for example our website host and our email provider — and with your veterinarian or emergency contact when your dog's health or safety requires it.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

06

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it. No website or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive details you would rather not share by email.

07

How long we keep information

We keep client and pet records for as long as needed to provide care and to meet our business, insurance, and legal obligations, then dispose of them responsibly. Inquiries that do not become bookings are kept only for a reasonable follow-up period.

08

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you may ask us to stop contacting you. Email or call us using the details below and we will respond as promptly as we can. Some records may need to be retained where the law or our insurance requires it.

09

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for adults arranging care for their dogs. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

10

Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites we do not control, such as review or social platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or services change. The effective date above will always show when it was last revised.
